• 1. Wash your face:

This should always be the first step of your beauty routine. To avoid pimples and blackheads, you should wash your face every day, especially before applying makeup. Also keep in mind that a clean face holds your make-up better and lasts longer.

    • 2. Apply Primer:

Although you can use foundation without a primer, you should consider applying a primer first. Primers are great to make your foundation last all day. Did you know that using a primer prevents pimples and dryness caused by makeup?

      • 3. Use foundation:

Finding the right foundation color is key. Keep in mind that the color of your skin changes with each season, so make sure to stay in tune with your foundation. For a natural look, always make sure that your foundation is applied everywhere including your neck.

        • 4. Apply some blush:

We often forget to put blush on. However, by applying blush to your cheekbones, you're giving your skin an extra glow. This will also flatter your skin tone. Again, it's crucial you chose the right color. Here's a color chart.

      • 5. Go ahead and use eyeshadow:

This step is optional. But, if you want to make your eyes pop, I suggest a 'gold-ish beige' color, it'll look good with any eye color. For a natural look, only apply the eye shadow on the base and in the middle of your eyelid.

    • 6. Be audacious, it's time for the eyeliner:

Okay, so this is probably the trickiest part of your makeup. You don't have to put eyeliner on, but it will definitely accentuate your eyes. Make sure you do this step before you put on mascara; it makes the process much easier. It might take a bit of practice before you do this right, but you'll definitely love this look. Just make sure you follow the natural line of your eyelid.

    • 7. Apply lash primer

Did you know you can put primer on your lashes? Not only is primer great to enhance and lengthen your lashes. It's also good for protecting them and keeping them strong. Over time, your lashes will be naturally stronger and fuller.

PS: To nourish your lashes, you can also use your primer overnight, just like a mask.

    • 8. Apply mascara:

Once your primer is dry, go ahead and apply your mascara. Start from the bottom of your upper lashes and wiggle the brush to the top. Since the primer is white, you want to apply at least two layers of mascara, so it doesn't show.

    • 9. Don't forget your eyebrows:

It's useless to spend so much time on your eye makeup if you're not going to take care of your eyebrows. You need to pluck out those undesired hairs daily, for a clean look. Be careful, don't take too much out, fuller eyebrows are gorgeous!
